Are you ready to join our team and make an impact?\nResponsibilities\nJoin our company as Security Engineer (all genders) and become part of an agile team designing, building, and improving security features across the TeamViewer product line and its supporting infrastructure.\nThese will be some of your responsibilities:\nDesign and implement security controls and mechanisms directly in our products, with a strong focus on secure-by-design principles.\n\nIdentify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities through threat modeling, security reviews, and hands-on testing (including aspects of offensive security).\n\nCollaborate closely with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC, from design to deployment, and improve existing security architectures.\n\nDrive the implementation of technical solutions to detect and prevent abuse scenarios in TeamViewer products.\n\nContribute to security-related automation, tooling, and processes to scale security across engineering teams.\n\nAct as a security consultant for product and engineering teams, helping them make risk-informed design and implementation decisions aligned with the overall security strategy.\n\nParticipate in applied AI security initiatives, focusing on securing AI-driven features and leveraging AI to improve security capabilities.\n\nPrepare and deliver secure coding trainings, workshops, and guidance to development teams.\n\nRequirements\nDegree in computer science or security or equivalent working experience\n\nIdeally 3+ years professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues\n\nStrong interest and understanding of security aspects of AI usage in Software Development process\n\nKnowledge of C++ and at least a basic understanding of other programming languages such as Java, C# or Go\n\nGood foundation in web architectures as well as scalable distributed systems\n\nExperience in implementing encryption, cryptography, software security and authentication, both in the field of software development and the design of network protocols.\n\nPassion about finding secure, innovative and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems\n\nExperience in mentoring, consulting and guiding other developers and teams of developers in building secure solutions\n\nExperience and interest in working in distributed teams\n\nFluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus\n\nWhat we offer\nOnsite Onboarding in our HQ office for an optimal start\n\nGreat compensation and benefits packages including company achievement bonus or sales bonus and regular salary reviews\n\nPublic transport friendly offices\n\nSpecial terms for local gyms\n\nAccess to Corporate Benefits platform with many discounts\n\nRegular Team events and company-wide celebrations\n\nOpen door policy, no dress code rules, frequent all Hands and Leadership Lunches\n\nHybrid and Flexible work time with up to 50% home office\n\nWork From Abroad Program allowing up to 40 days of work outside your contracting country\n\nWe celebrate diversity as one of core values, join and drive one of the c-a-r-e initiatives together with us!\n\nTeamViewer is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and supported.
