About the Role

We are hiring a Model Risk Management (MRM) – Fraud Analytics | SAS/Python/SQL

• Locations: Bangalore/Gurgaon
• Work Model: Hybrid
• Experience: 4-6 years
• Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days

SAS, SQL:

Must-haves –

1. SAS, SQL and basic python knowledge.
2. Experience with data management, data cleaning, preparation of modeling datasets.
3. Ongoing Model Monitoring experience.
4. Basic Stats.

Good to have – Fraud model development/validation experience with exposure to vendor models like VISA, Actimize, LexisNexis, etc.

Number of resources – 2-3

• Well-documented code in SQL, SAS and Python; additional experience in Fraud and Fin Crime models.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in SAS and Python.
• Good to have experience with Fraud models and Financial Crime experience.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management and the different aspects of MRM – development, validation, implementation, monitoring, governance, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement statistical and rule-based models to detect fraud. Models will be used to detect Synthetic Fraud, Identity Theft Fraud, First Party Fraud, Authorized Fraud, etc.
• Implement the models and solutions of leading vendor such as Actimize, Experian, Socure, Verafin, etc. within pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in SQL, SAS and Python.
• Conduct code reviews and work with multiple stakeholders – model users, model owners, business teams, to understand data structure and flow to build dataset for developing Ongoing Monitoring Framework.

Write comprehensive Model Development documents post reviewing vendor materials, identifying gaps in information provided and interacting with vendor to procure information required.
