# Telecom Data & Adress Engineer (GIS) - Waterloo

Reliable address, building and network data for a fibre-to-the-home network in Wallonia is your core responsibility: you process and resolve address requests across DMP, Cocon, the address lists and the build lists, and keep one consistent view of every address. Each Deployment Area’s build list is yours to create and re-challenge, from the address sources to the list locked with the operators. Before each submission to the operators, you run data-quality checks, correct errors at the source and keep the deviation per area below the contractual limit. In addition, you build the poles database and reconcile it with ORES and RESA. The MDU register stays complete under your care, and you flag streets at risk of capacity shortage while re-blowing fibre is still an option. As part of the design process, you contribute to the pre-design package and to the address and connectivity checks of the design review. Using SQL, Python, FME and QGIS, you build validation rules and scripts, with AI-assisted tooling where it speeds up the work.
