The Scrum Master will play a key role in enabling Agile delivery practices, supporting continuous improvement, and helping a cross-functional team successfully execute modernization initiatives.\nAs the Scrum Master, you will serve as the Agile servant leader for a cross-functional software development team, ensuring Agile principles and Scrum practices are consistently applied throughout the software development lifecycle. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, foster collaboration between the development team and Government Product Owner, and promote continuous improvement while supporting the successful delivery of mission-critical software capabilities.\nWorking closely with the Program Manager, Agile Project Manager, Software Engineers, Oracle Database Administrator, DevSecOps Engineer/Cloud Administrator, Test Engineer, and Technical Writer, you will help ensure the team delivers high-quality software in accordance with Agile best practices and Department of Defense acquisition requirements.\nKeq Responsibilities:\nServe as the Scrum Master for an Agile software development team supporting customer modernization initiatives.\nFacilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives while ensuring established timeboxes are maintained.\nCoach the team on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and continuous improvement practices.\nCollaborate closely with the Government Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog.\nEnsure Product Backlog Items (PBIs) are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprint execution.\nEnforce adherence to the team's Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).\nRemove obstacles that impede team progress and proactively resolve or escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.\nMaintain sprint metrics, burndown charts, velocity tracking, team capacity planning, and impediment logs.\nGenerate Agile dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Government-approved Agile management tools.\nSupport transparency by communicating sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers to Government and program leadership.\nEncourage collaboration across software engineering, DevSecOps, testing, database administration, and technical documentation teams.\nPromote Agile maturity through coaching, mentoring, and continuous process improvement.\nSupport technical meetings and Scrum ceremonies to maintain high levels of team participation and engagement.\nEnsure compliance with contract requirements, Agile processes, and program reporting requirements.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.\nMinimum 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on DOD software development programs.\nCurrent Agile certification such as: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). (Certification must remain current throughout employment).\nDemonstrated experience facilitating Agile software development teams in a Scrum environment.\nProficiency with Government-approved Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.\nExperience creating automated Agile reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.\nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and DevSecOps concepts.\nExcellent facilitation, communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.\nActive Secret Security Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S. Air Force software modernization programs.\nFamiliarity with the DoD Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP).\nExperience working within secure cloud environments, including AWS.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience supporting distributed or geographically dispersed Agile teams.\nFamiliarity with Government software delivery reporting and performance metrics.\nBenefits\nFounded in 1995 at the start of the dot-com revolution, TechFlow helped large commercial clients such as DreamWorks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize their business systems.
