The platform helps enterprises detect and respond to emerging online threats. The team builds software with a spec-driven, AI-assisted workflow: engineers write clear specifications, plans, and acceptance criteria, then direct AI coding agents to implement, test, and refine the code. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. You’ll own features end to end and help the team improve how it ships with AI.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTranslate product requirements into precise specs, technical plans, and task breakdowns that AI coding agents can carry out reliably\nUse AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Kiro) to implement features, then review, test, and refine the code they produce\nOwn features end to end across backend services, APIs, and integrations, from spec through to production\nDefine acceptance criteria and automated tests up front so AI-generated code is checked against the spec\nMaintain project context files, coding standards, and reusable prompts and templates that keep agent output consistent\nReview AI-generated and human-written code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability\nImprove the team’s spec-driven workflow, tooling, and CI/CD practices, and share what works\nJoin daily standups and technical discussions with the US-based client team\nRequirements:\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications\nHands-on experience using AI coding agents as a core part of your daily development workflow, not just autocomplete\nPractical experience with spec-driven development: writing specs, plans, or structured requirements that guide AI-generated implementation (e.g., GitHub Spec Kit, Kiro, or a similar approach of your own)\nStrong in at least one of:Backend: Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go, plus REST APIs and SQL databases\nFull stack: the above plus React or a similar modern frontend framework\n\nStrong testing discipline, including unit, integration, and test-first habits that validate AI-generated code\nExperience with Git-based workflows, code review, and CI/CD\nExperience deploying to a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\nExcellent written and spoken English, especially strong written communication for specs and documentation\nNice to have:\nExperience building LLM-powered product features, such as RAG, agents, or tool calling\nExperience setting up AI development tooling for a team, such as MCP servers, agent rules files, or shared prompt libraries\nExperience with data-heavy or SaaS platforms, especially in security, threat intelligence, or trust and safety\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)\nPrevious experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams\nLocation: \nRemote, Mexico\nEmployment type:\nContract\nTech Holding is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
