Your role will be participating in pre-sales activities, discovery phases, initiating new projects, and helping on the existing ones. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and translating business needs into technical requirements for projects in Health tech and Life Sciences domains.\n\n*Please note that this position is open to candidates from Lviv.\n\nWhat we expect\n\n3+ years as a Business Analyst in software development projects, including at least one healthcare or health tech product (EHR/EMR, patient portal, telehealth, practice management, remote monitoring or similar)\n\nHands-on experience across the full BA cycle on at least one project, from elicitation through delivery and acceptance\n\nExperience gathering and documenting requirements for workflows with several user roles and turning them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria\n\nWorking knowledge of healthcare privacy and security regulations, mainly HIPAA and GDPR, and the ability to turn them into concrete requirements\n\nBasic understanding of healthcare interoperability, what FHIR and HL7 are for\n\nExperience writing business and technical documentation: PRD, user stories, BPMN/UML diagrams, data flows, integration descriptions\n\nExperience with Jira, Confluence and a diagramming or prototyping tool \n\nExperience with LLM and AI tools (especially Claude) for project context management, routine task automation, and use on different agentic SDLC stages\n\nExperience working in Agile teams and a solid understanding of software development processes and roles\n\nStrong analytical skills, especially spotting gaps, contradictions and edge cases in requirements\n\nAbility to run interviews, workshops, and walkthroughs with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAttention to detail, plus the ability to see how a feature fits the wider product and the client’s system landscape\n\nAbility to own a workstream on your own, with guidance from a Senior BA\n\nReal interest in the healthcare domain and willingness to learn its terminology, standards and regulations quickly\n\nUpper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher\nNice to have\n\nHands-on experience with FHIR R4 resources or FHIR-native platforms (e.g. Medplum), or with EHR integrations (Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth)\n\nFamiliarity with US revenue cycle concepts: insurance eligibility, claims, CPT/ICD-10 coding, clearinghouses\n\nExperience in specific health tech subdomains, such as patient engagement, telehealth, women’s health or mental health\n\nPre-sales experience: preparing scope breakdowns for estimates, discovery plans or solution proposals\n\nBackground in healthcare (clinical or administrative), QA or project management\n\nClaude Certified Associate – Foundations certification or Architect level ones\nResponsibilities\n\nGather, analyse and document business, user and solution requirements for health tech products, including clinical and administrative workflows\n\nMap current and target workflows for every user role, and identify where the product sits among the client’s existing systems\n\nTurn regulatory and privacy constraints into requirements, and keep them traceable through the backlog\n\nDefine integration and data requirements with the tech team\n\nTake an active part in discovery phases: prepare and co-facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews, then consolidate the findings\n\nConduct market, competitor and domain research, and contribute to the unit’s subdomain overviews\n\nDevelop and maintain the product backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities\n\nSupport estimation by breaking scope down into epics and features as input for WBS\n\nSet up and maintain the project knowledge base\n\nContribute to the Health Tech unit’s knowledge
