The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and creating a robust semantic layer. This role is crucial for transforming data into actionable insights and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.\nRoles & Responsibilities :\nDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.\nDevelop and implement a semantic layer to facilitate data access and reporting.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nOptimize Power BI models for performance, scalability, and usability.\nUtilize Power Apps to create custom applications that enhance data interaction and reporting capabilities.\nEnsure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.\nProvide training and support to end-users on Power BI and Power Apps functionalities.\nStay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence.\nQualifications & Skills :\n5-7 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.\nProven experience in Power BI modeling, dashboard development, and reporting.\nStrong knowledge of Power BI reporting, data visualization best practices, and semantic layer development.\nProficiency in Power Apps for creating custom business applications.\nSolid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.\nFamiliarity with SQL and database management systems.\nExperience with cloud data platforms such as Azure and AWS.\nKnowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and Agile methodologies.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nThe pay range for this role is CAD 100,000 - CAD 115,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
