The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience, and location of the candidate.\nThis role is also open for contract: $50/hr - $57/hr\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Electro-Mechanical System Integration Engineer to support the development and integration of advanced motorized and automated equipment systems. This role bridges mechanical, electrical, controls, and software disciplines to ensure successful system bring-up, validation, and deployment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, experienced in motion control systems, and capable of troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical interactions in prototype and production environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead integration of electro-mechanical subsystems including motors, actuators, sensors, controllers, and safety devices.\nCoordinate interfaces among mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineering teams.\nSupport system architecture development, requirements definition, and integration planning.\nIntegrate and validate servo motors, stepper motors, encoders, limit switches, motor drives, power supplies, and communication networks.\nPerform system bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting during prototype development and qualification.\nDevelop and execute integration, functional, and validation test plans.\nInvestigate and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through root-cause analysis.\nVerify machine safety functions, interlocks, alarms, and fault recovery sequences.\nSupport design reviews and ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.\nGenerate and maintain engineering documentation including interface specifications, test reports, assembly procedures, and release documentation.\nSupport manufacturing, installation, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and field deployment activities as required.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical system integration, automation equipment, robotics, or motion control systems.\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nServo and stepper motor systems\nMotion controllers and motor drives\nEncoders, sensors, and limit switches\nElectrical wiring, schematics, and troubleshooting\nExperience debugging integrated hardware and software systems.\nAbility to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and system interface documents.\nStrong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and technical communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with semiconductor, display, automation, robotics, or capital equipment industries.\nKnowledge of PLCs, industrial communication protocols, EtherCAT, CAN, Modbus, or similar networks.\nExperience developing system requirements, integration plans, and verification procedures.\nFamiliarity with machine safety standards, safety interlocks, and risk assessments.\nExperience with system qualification, reliability testing, and production release processes.\nProficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or Inventor.\nDesired Skills\nMotion system sizing, tuning, and optimization.\nHardware and software limit implementation.\nSafety interlock matrix development and validation.\nFMEA and risk assessment execution.\nPrototype build, test, and design verification.\nExcellent collaboration and project execution skills in fast-paced development environments.\nIdeal Candidate: A hands-on engineer with strong electro-mechanical integration experience who can rapidly identify issues, drive cross-functional solutions, and successfully bring complex motorized systems from concept to production.\n“Tech Mahindra is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
