This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet our business needs.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and implement cloud-based solutions using GCP, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nLead architectural discussions and provide guidance on best practices for cloud adoption and migration.\nEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve cloud infrastructure and application performance.\nDevelop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, including design patterns, deployment processes, and operational procedures.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.\nStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and GCP.\nMandatory Skills:\nProven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on cloud technologies.\nStrong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and certification as a GCP Professional Cloud Architect is a must.\nExpertise in designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on GCP.\nExperience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.\nStrong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in GCP.\nProficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with data engineering and analytics on GCP.\nUnderstanding of machine learning and AI services offered by GCP.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n10-15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.\nProven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nThe pay range for this role is $110,000- $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
