The role will focus on evaluating the platform against the AWS Well-Architected Framework, including the SaaS Lens and IoT Lens, and delivering a validated reference architecture along with a prioritized remediation roadmap.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews across Operational Excellence, Reliability, Security, and Performance pillars.\nAssess cloud-native microservices architecture deployed on Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.\nEvaluate disaster recovery, fault tolerance, multi-AZ resilience, and uptime readiness.\nReview SaaS multi-tenancy architecture, including tenant isolation, authorization, routing, and data partitioning.\nApply AWS IoT Lens best practices for large-scale device fleet management, firmware lifecycle, and communication protocols.\nDevelop target-state reference architecture and modernization recommendations.\nCreate a prioritized remediation roadmap aligned with business timelines and budget.\nLead architecture workshops and technical discussions with customer engineering and leadership teams.\nCollaborate with security and platform teams to validate compliance and platform scalability.\nRequired Skills\n10+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS.\nStrong expertise in AWS Well-Architected Framework, SaaS Lens, and IoT Lens.\nHands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized microservices.\nExperience with GitOps/CI-CD tools such as Argo CD, BitBucket, and AWS DevOps services.\nDeep understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture patterns.\nExpertise in Reliability Engineering, DR, High Availability, and Observability.\nExperience with CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, distributed tracing, and monitoring solutions.\nStrong knowledge of IoT architectures, device lifecycle management, and large-scale fleet operations.\nExperience producing architecture assessments, executive reports, and remediation roadmaps.\nExcellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.\nPreferred Skills\nUtility, Industrial IoT, Smart Metering, or Connected Devices experience.\nSOC 2, GDPR, or cloud compliance exposure.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.\nExperience supporting large-scale SaaS migration and modernization initiatives.\nThe pay range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
