The role involves executing end-to-end SAP BASIS activities, collaborating with SAP, customer, and internal teams, and driving technical excellence across SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Cloud environments.\nThe consultant is expected to take ownership of complex technical issues, lead critical activities, and mentor junior team members while supporting RISE with SAP landscapes in 24*7 global support model.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. SAP BASIS Administration & Operations\nManage day-to-day SAP BASIS administration activities across SAP landscapes.\nPerform system monitoring, performance tuning, health checks, and preventive maintenance.\nAdminister SAP ABAP and Java systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.\nExecute client administration, transport management, user administration, and system housekeeping activities.\nEnsure adherence to operational procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices.\n2. Incident & Problem Management\nHandle and resolve critical P1/P2 incidents within SLA timelines.\nPerform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.\nTroubleshoot performance bottlenecks, work processes, dumps, job failures, memory issues, and connectivity problems.\nCoordinate with SAP, infrastructure, database, and application teams for complex issue resolution.\nParticipate in major incident reviews and drive service improvement initiatives.\n3. SAP Technical Project Execution\nSupport SAP system upgrades activities.\nPerform system refreshes, client copies, system builds, and landscape maintenance activities.\nParticipate in technical cutover planning and execution during go live activities.\n4. SAP HANA & Database Administration\nSupport SAP HANA administration activities, analyse and troubleshoot SAP HANA database-related issues through DBACOCKPIT and SAP system and share recommendations to DB team.\nMonitor database growth and recommend optimization actions.\n5. SAP Fiori & Cloud Support\nSupport SAP Fiori environments, including Gateway setup, service activation, and application troubleshooting.\nSupport SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms.\nAssist in managing hybrid landscapes and cloud connectivity solutions.\nWork with SAP Cloud Connector and cloud-based SAP services where applicable.\n6. Technical Collaboration & Continuous Improvement\nCollaborate with SAP, customer, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver technical solutions.\nIdentify automation opportunities and process improvement initiatives.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.\nMentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration and support.\nStrong experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA Database, and SAP Fiori.\nExperience supporting business-critical production SAP landscapes.\nExpertise in SAP upgrades, system refreshes, client copies, transport management, and system maintenance.\nStrong troubleshooting skills covering performance issues, dumps, job failures, RFC issues, memory utilization, and system availability.\nGood understanding of SAP architecture, including ABAP and Java-based systems.\nExperience with SAP HANA monitoring, performance tuning, and administration.\nExposure to SAP Cloud environments including.\nExperience managing STMS and transport strategies in complex SAP landscapes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProactive attitude with the ability to work independently and within global support teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSAP BASIS, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA certifications.\nExperience with RISE with SAP environments.\nKnowledge of SAP BTP, Solution Manager, and cloud
