This role is responsible for evaluating and establishing appropriate manpower levels and workforce placement, developing and maintaining process methods and standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position ensures effective implementation of process changes to support daily manufacturing goals, operational efficiency, and production performance.\nCore Responsibilities:\nLead and support new process trials and provide engineering support for current production to ensure stable, efficient manufacturing operations.\nEstablish and maintain optimal production methods, standards, tooling, and equipment for assigned products and processes.\nDrive manufacturing safety, ergonomics, and efficiency improvements through process changes and continuous safety initiatives.\nCollaborate with Materials and cross-functional teams to optimize material flow, organization, and placement using Lean principles.\nCoordinate implementation of new products and engineering changes, ensuring proper balance of work timing, processes, and manpower requirements.\nPartner with Engineering and Materials teams to conduct manufacturing design reviews and support process development, prototype builds, and launch readiness.\nIdentify, implement, and standardize process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.\nAnalyze assembly operations and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, problem solving, and application of lean manufacturing.\nDevelop and maintain accurate production standards using predetermined time systems (MCTM/MOST).\nEnsure adherence to engineering standards, plant procedures, and compliance requirements across all assigned processes.\nIdentify and execute opportunities for cost reduction and manpower optimization through process design and assembly configuration improvements.\nProvide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers as needed, supporting development.\nLead and execute engineering programs within the area of responsibility to meet production, timing, and business objectives.\nInterface and collaborate with plant personnel to achieve production targets, manpower balance, and operational goals.\nRequired Skills and Competencies:\nCommunication\nDecision Making\nProblem Solving\nCustomer Focus\nTeamwork\nLean Manufacturing\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nThe minimum education and experience requirements can be met through any one of the pathways described in the charts below.
