The successful candidate will leverage modern software engineering practices, DevOps methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools to improve platform capabilities, delivery velocity, and operational efficiency.\n1. Key Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software components, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions supporting ACS platforms and associated systems. Analyse device data models, vendor implementation requirements, and integration specifications to develop scalable software solutions.\nDevelop software tools and automation frameworks to support provisioning, diagnostics, firmware management, monitoring, and operational workflows. Configure, develop, and test ACS provisioning workflows, device management transactions, and orchestration processes.\nDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Git-based development workflows and DevOps best practices. Perform code reviews, maintain source control repositories, and manage software releases through Git and automated deployment platforms.\nDevelop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automated test suites covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.\nValidate TR-069 provisioning and device-management transactions and TR-143 performance testing workflows.\nSupport firmware upgrade, rollback, whitelist, and manifest-based deployment processes across fixed and mobile device ecosystems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, integration issues, production incidents, deployment failures, and platform performance problems.\nAnalyse logs, metrics, and telemetry data to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions and platform improvements.\nUtilise AI-assisted development tools and Generative AI technologies to accelerate software development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational efficiency. Evaluate and integrate AI-powered capabilities, automation solutions, and intelligent workflows into ACS and supporting platforms where appropriate.\nAdditional Skills & Experience\nStrong software development experience using Python, Perl, Golang, Java, Bash, or equivalent languages.\nHands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and software engineering principles.\nExperience troubleshooting production applications, integrations, APIs, and distributed systems.
