You'll work closely with developers to embed testing throughout the development lifecycle and drive a culture of quality.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright\nBuild and maintain scalable, reliable test automation frameworks\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and end to end testing\nCollaborate with developers to define test strategy and improve testability\nIdentify, document, and track defects through to resolution\nAnalyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics/reporting\nMentor other QA engineers and promote automation best practices\nRequirements\n5-7 years of professional QA/test automation experience\nStrong hands on experience with Playwright (or comparable framework, with willingness to standardize on Playwright)\nProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines\nSolid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, E2E)\nExperience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira)\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills\nExcellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills\nNice to Have\nExperience testing real time or mission critical systems\nExperience with API testing tools and performance/load testing\nFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure) and containerized test environments\nFamiliarity with GenAI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and cloud based AI services\nThe pay range for this role is CAD $90000 - CAD $ 95000* per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
