Core Responsibilities

• System Design: Create high-level technical blueprints for Magento 2 implementations, customizations, and integrations.
• Third-Party Integration: Connect Magento with external enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, OMS, and payment gateways.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize website speed, database queries, and server caching mechanisms (e.g., Varnish, Redis).
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding and security best practices.
• Requirements Scoping: Translate business needs into technical specifications during pre-sales and discovery phases. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Required Skill Set

• Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, service contracts, dependency injection, and modular structure.
• Core Technologies: Advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XML, and modern web APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Security & Compliance: Strong grasp of web security standards and PCI compliance for e-commerce.
• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical teams

Salary:

Full-time: The pay range for this role is $135k -$ 155k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
