Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Owner with a strong background in CAD engineering, specifically in supporting HVAC products using CATIA V5. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of CATIA Assembly Design and will be responsible for driving product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering high quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring clear communication of product requirements and priorities.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to completion, focusing on HVAC products and their integration within CATIA V5.
• Utilize CATIA Assembly Design to create, modify, and optimize 3D models and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of product performance, gathering feedback to inform future iterations and enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of product specifications, design changes, and project milestones.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with project goals.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in CATIA V5, with a strong emphasis on Assembly Design.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Experience in product ownership or project management within an engineering context.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make data driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience in conducting design reviews and presenting technical information to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of additional CAD software or engineering tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials related to HVAC products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of relevant experience in CAD engineering, specifically with HVAC products.
• Proven track record of successful product ownership or project management in a technical environment.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
