of electronics components like different types of ICs, discrete SMD &\nthrough hole components, power devices like IGBT, MOSFETs, Diodes, Thyristors, Capacitors,\ntransformers and inductors.\n￷ Comparison of component datasheets and specifications of alternate suppliers and propose\nsuitability of use in existing designs.\n￷ Analyse schematics and use case for all components for approval in design and in production.\n￷ Design and develop analogue/digital/power electronic circuits and systems for power electronics\nproducts.\n￷ Perform design calculations and simulations for electronic components like capacitors, chokes,\ntransformers, power devices including IGBTs, MOSFETs, Thyristors etc.\n￷ Understand and apply various relevant conformance/compliance standards for selection &\napproval of components.\n￷ Create test cases and test plan, test sequence to verify/test designs, to meet agreed functional\ndesign requirements and conforms to international EMC and safety requirements & regulations.\n￷ Prepare Test setup to ensure they meet the test requirements.\n￷ Execute tests with correct test procedures to meet Products specifications, and to validate\nproduct design.\n￷ Prepare test reports with conclusion, suggest if any design or component changes required and\npropose way forward.\n￷ Understand product‿s applicable standards for safety compliance, EMI EMC compliance etc.\nEnsure products and alternate components are tested as per these requirements.\n￷ Work with Electrical, Mechanical, PCB, Conformance and Project Management Team during New\nProduct Development and Sustaining/Continuous Engineering projects.\nQualifications and Competencies\n￷ Bachelor‿s degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Industrial Electronics /\nPower Electronics.\n￷ Knowledge of power converters, power electronics, SMPS is required\n￷ Min 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in product design and testing of power converter\nproducts, switch mode power supplies, variable frequency drives, inverters, battery chargers, dc\npower supplies etc.\n￷ Relevant experience of product conformance/compliance, analogue and digital circuits design,\npower electronics circuits design and schematics preparation preferred.\n￷ Self Motivated, takes complete ownership of the work assigned and take it to completion in\ntimely manner with minimal supervision.\n￷ Hands on experience of preparing test setups preferred.\n￷ Hands on experience of use of test equipment like Digital Multi Meter, Digital Oscilloscope,\nPower Supplies, Variac, Current Probes, High Voltage Probes, Data Loggers, Signal Generators,\nPower Analysers, EMC Test equipment etc.\n￷ Good written and verbal communication with clarity and accuracy.\n￷ Collaborative with local and global teams, works effectively in team environment and when\nalone.\n￷ Proactively raise concerns about task at hand in case there are any stoppages or needs
