In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, event driven, high performance applications. The position combines hands on development with technical leadership, event driven architecture oversight, and stakeholder collaboration.\nKey Responsibilities\nFull Stack Development: Lead end to\nend design of applications using Python (FastAPI), Microservices.\nEvent Driven Architecture: Design and implement scalable, real time data pipelines and streaming architectures using Apache Kafka.\nTechnical Leadership: Define application architecture, data streaming standards, coding practices, and system governance.\nMentorship & Quality: Guide and mentor developers, perform code reviews, and ensure rigorous quality compliance.\nDomain Alignment: Translate complex telecom requirements into highly scalable, decoupled technical solutions.\nIntegration & Optimization: Drive API design (FastAPI), event schemas, asynchronous messaging, and end to end system performance optimization.\nCross functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver robust software.\nSecurity & Reliability: Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, data retention policies, and security of applications and messaging clusters.\nAI Productivity: Leverage AI assisted development tools (Copilot, Codex, Claude, etc.) to boost productivity and code quality.\nOperations Support: Oversee production releases, event stream troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical Skills\nBackend & Microservices: Strong hands on experience in Python (FastAPI), REST APIs, and decoupled Microservices architecture.\nEvent Streaming & Messaging: Deep expertise in Apache Kafka (topic configuration, partitioning strategy, consumer groups, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry).\nFront end Knowledge: knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.\nDatabases: Mastery of PostgreSQL, relational database design, and optimization for high throughput streaming data.\nDevOps & Infrastructure: Hands on experience with Docker containerisation; exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is highly preferred.\nDevelopment Workflows: Proficient with Git for version control and complex collaborative branching workflows.\nAI Tooling: Familiarity with AI powered developer tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, etc.) for enhanced coding efficiency.\nSystem Design: Strong grasp of distributed systems, concurrency, event sourcing, and data consistency patterns.\nDomain & Leadership\nTelecom Domain: Proven experience in Telecom (Telecom Network Inventory, OSS/BSS, or real time event mediation preferred).\nAgile delivery: Experience leading and scaling technical teams in Agile / Scrum environments.\nStakeholder Management: Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across cross functional business units.\nIf you are passionate about data and have a strong background in Python, we encourage you to apply and join our team in driving data driven decision making across the organization.\nAbout Us:\nAt Tech Mahindra (Tech Mahindra | Connected World, Connected Experiences), we live the philosophy of connected world and connected experiences.
