Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in QAD Programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in DevOps practices and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our platform infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of QAD programming to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of QAD applications into the platform.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in QAD Programming.
• Proficient in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Trello).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with database management and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Proven experience with QAD Programming and its applications.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
