Competitive remuneration awaits you!\n\nThe Role in a Nutshell:\n\nAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies. You will play a key role in helping clients transform raw data into trusted, usable, and high-value information for analytics, reporting, and AI-driven use cases.\n\nThis role goes beyond building pipelines, you will contribute to solution design, performance optimization, data architecture, and engineering best practices while working closely with Data Analysts, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Consultants, and client-facing teams.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nData Platform & Pipeline Engineeringe Development\n\nDesign, build, and optimize scalable, reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and related Azure services.\n\nDevelop and manage ETL/ELT workflows for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.\n\nSupport the design of modern data platforms for reporting, analytics, and downstream AI/ML workloads.\n\nImplement data modeling and transformation strategies to support business and technical requirements.\n\nPerformance, Reliability & Scalability\n\nMonitor and maintain pipelines and workflows to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.\n\nOptimize data workloads for cost, speed, scalability, and maintainability.\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to data engineering standards and reusable frameworks.\n\nData Quality, Governance & Security\n\nEnsure strong standards for data quality, consistency, integrity, and availability.\n\nApply governance best practices including metadata management, documentation, and lineage.\n\nImplement and maintain data security, privacy controls, and role-based access.\n\nEnsure secure handling of client and sensitive data across platforms and environments.\n\nCollaboration & Client Delivery\n\nCollaborate with Data Analysts, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.\n\nTranslate business and analytical needs into robust technical designs.\n\nSupport internal and client-facing teams with well-documented, production-ready data solutions.\n\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n\nContinuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing\n\nStay current with emerging trends across Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, modern data architecture, and AI-ready platforms.\n\nShare knowledge, mentor junior team members where needed, and contribute to a strong engineering culture. \n\nEducational Qualifications Expected:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n\nExperience Expected:\n\n4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, data platform engineering, or a related role.\n\nSkills Expected:\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies such as:Azure Data Factory\nAzure Synapse Analytics\n\nMicrosoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Pipelines)\n\nAzure SQL / Data Lake / related Azure services\n\nStrong proficiency in SQL\n\nHands-on experience in Python (or a similar language) for data processing, transformation, or automation\n\nSolid experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines\n\nGood understanding of data modeling concepts including dimensional modeling and star schemas\n\nExperience with data quality, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments\n\nGood-to-Have Skills:\n\nExperience working with Microsoft Fabric in live projects or proof-of-concept environments\n\nExposure to AI/ML workloads, feature pipelines, or advanced analytics use cases\n\nExperience with lakehouse architecture, medallion design, or distributed processing frameworks\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, or infrastructure automation for data projects\n\nExperience in consulting, managed services, or client-facing delivery environments\n\nRelevant
