Working at our customers facilities, TSS employees are key enablers - helping ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance in some of the leading laboratories in the United States.\nHow will you make an impact?\nThe Field Service Manager is a key team member and contributor that helps manage the day-to-day operations of their specific region of responsibility which includes all field service personnel supervision and oversight of general workflow to ensure productivity and service quality expectations are met. The basic function of the Field Service Manager is to lead and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in providing testing, certification, and related services. This includes overseeing all field service personnel training, development, general workflow efficiency, and performance management.\nWhat will you do?\nManages and develops a team of field service technicians that service a specific geography of customers across a diverse set of service offerings.\nPartners with upper field service management to ensure efficiency and productivity goals are met so that the region can meet its financial and regional growth targets. \nCoordinates with senior staff and the training department to ensure sufficient training and development of your field staff.\nCoordinates with operations to ensure technicians are scheduled as efficiently as possible and any logistical issues are addressed.\nMaintains awareness and involvement in the resolution of customer situations and any equipment problems.\nPerforms testing, certification, environmental monitoring, calibration, and other services on client premises across a variety of laboratory, hospital and/or pharmacy spaces and equipment.\nActs as an interdepartmental liaison with other department managers and corporate shared services providing support.\nOther duties as assigned.\nHow will you get rewarded?\nTSS offers competitive salaries and a wide range of benefits:\nSalary range of $81,000 - $104,000 annually(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.)\n\nMedical, vision, and dental insurance\n401(k) plan with a company matching contribution\nLong-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance\nCompetitive Paid Time Off (PTO) and company paid holidays\nHow will you get here?\nEducation and Experience\nRequires a high school diploma, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study preferred.\nRequires 2 years of testing and certification experience for BSC, Fumehood or cleanroom environments. \nRequires 2 years of relevant business leadership experience including profit/loss and key performance indicators.\nRequires some people management experience.\nA combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExcellent customer service and relationship building skills.\nDemonstrated leadership, business, and management skills.\nProficient with the Microsoft Office suite.\nPossess interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross-functional teams and customers.\nAbility to manage a team to achieve business goals together.\nStrong verbal and written communication, including the use of open and constructive feedback.\nTSS is a passionate equal opportunity employer and celebrates diversity.
