This role is designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to grow within the skilled trades. The PM Apprentice will focus primarily on preventative maintenance, system inspection, basic repairs, and learning diagnostic procedures under the supervision of experienced technicians.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist senior technicians with preventative maintenance on foodservice equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.) \nPerform routine PM tasks such as testing gas pressure, calibrating temperatures, cleaning equipment, inspecting electrical connections, and verifying overall system performance\nIdentify and report any early signs of system wear or failure to senior technicians\nSupport basic troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision\nAccurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system \nMaintain organized truck inventory and ensure proper care of tools and equipment\nFollow all safety regulations and company policies \nDeliver professional and courteous customer service while onsite\nParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities \nGradually assume greater responsibility as skills and certifications are achieved\nQualifications\n0-2 years of related mechanical, HVAC, appliance repair, automotive, or foodservice equipment experience preferred\nTrade school or technical school training strongly preferred\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record required \nBasic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems\nStrong work ethic and ability to work independently once trained\nSolid understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions \nAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters \nMust be willing to participate in on-call rotation as skills progress\nCompensation Transparency\nThe advertised pay range for this position is $21-$26.
