Our commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism has made us a valued partner for businesses throughout the region.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Hot Side Commercial Foodservice Technician is responsible for driving a company vehicle to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment. To be a successful Commercial Foodservice Technician, you should be able to work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. To excel in this position, you should have strong technical skills, be a master at trouble shooting and be an expert in customer service.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment.\nInspects the commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.\nCommunicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.\nCompletes service tickets according to procedures.\nTracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.\nSustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.\nSets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.\nFollows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.\nRequirements:\n3+ years of commercial foodservice repair experience\nPrevious experience as a commercial technician\nMechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and methods\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record\nSuperb customer service skills\nDependable and able to work independently\nStandard computer skills\nOwn industry’s standard hand tools\nAbility to travel extensively within the region\nAbility to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)\n\nCompensation Transparency\nThe advertised pay range for this position is $28- $45 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
