Their technicians are experienced in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing complex commercial kitchen systems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational continuity for their customers.\nPosition Summary\nAs part of the Facilities Managementteam and boarder Tech24 network, the Senior Commercial Hot & Cold Technician is responsible for driving a company vehicle to customer locations to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned technician with extensive experience servicing both hot-side and cold-side commercial equipment, capable of mentoring junior technicians, managing complex repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.\nKey Responsibilities\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)\nDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.)\nPerform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations\nAccurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system\nClearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers\nManage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked\nRespond to service calls in a timely and professional manner\nRepresent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service\nFollow all safety regulations and company policies\nParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities\nQualifications:\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.\n5+ years of commercial hot-side and/or refrigeration service experience.\nEPA Universal Certification preferred\nExperience mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians.\nStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across commercial foodservice and refrigeration equipment.\nProven ability to work independently and manage service calls with minimal supervision.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills.\nBasic computer proficiency for service documentation and communication.\nMust possess standard industry hand tools.\nAbility to travel throughout the assigned service area.\nAbility to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and commitment to continuous learning.\nCompensation Transparency\nThe advertised pay range for this position is $30-$50. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
