This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism.\nKey Responsi bilities\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, etc.)\nDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, low boys, etc.)\nPerform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations \nAccurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system\nClearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers\nManage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked\nRespond to service calls in a timely and professional manner\nRepresent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service\nFollow all safety regulations and company policies\nParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities \nQualifications\n3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience\nValid drivers license with a clean driving record required\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills\nExperience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions\nAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters\nOwn industry standard hand tools\nWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed\nEPA Universal certification preferred\nCompensation Transparency\nThe advertised pay range for this position is $35-$42. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
