This position supports commercial kitchen operations by ensuring refrigeration systems and related equipment are operating efficiently and safely.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, prep tables, and related systems.\nPerform preventative maintenance inspections and routine service.\nInstall and replace refrigeration components and equipment as required.\nRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.\nTest refrigeration systems, identify issues, and complete necessary repairs.\nMaintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.\nEnsure compliance with EPA regulations, safety standards, and company policies.\nCommunicate professionally with customers regarding service findings and recommendations.\nMaintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.\nParticipate in after-hours or on-call service rotation as required.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of commercial refrigeration repair experience\nEPA Universal certification preferred\nValid drivers license with a clean driving record required\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nAbility to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions\nAbility to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters\nOwn industry standard hand tools\nWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed\nCompensation Transparency\nThe advertised pay range for this position is $30-$45 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
