We’re seeking candidates with experience dispatching reactive service technicians.\nAbout the Role\nThe Service Coordinator (Dispatcher) at Tech24 ensures efficient daily operations by scheduling and dispatching service technicians, prioritizing reactive service calls, and coordinating return visits. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll serve as a key point of contact between technicians, customers, and internal teams-providing clear updates, maintaining accurate records, and supporting timesheet and invoice review to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nMinimum 2 years of experience in customer service, dispatching, project management, or a related field\nProficient computer and data entry skills\nHighly organized and detail-oriented\nKnowledge of service areas and route optimization skills\nAdvanced customer service skills\nStrong multitasking ability\nDesired Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of the HVAC industry\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities\nTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally\nAbility to adapt quickly in a reactive, ever-changing service environment\nKey Responsibilities:\nDispatch service technicians to assigned service calls\nSchedule and coordinate daily service appointments\nMaintain dispatch schedules in Global Edge and Excel dispatch board\nDebrief technicians following service calls and update service details\nForecast workload 2-3 days in advance to support resource planning\nFollow up on open service calls and customer return visits\nConfirm upcoming appointments with customers and provide status updates\nMaintain accurate customer records and service database entries\nMonitor and respond to incoming calls, emails, and after-hours messages\nCoordinate with technicians and warehouse teams on parts availability and job readiness\nManage service quote logs and customer portals\nEnsure calls are properly routed to on-call technicians\nSupport additional administrative and operational duties as needed\n\nTech24 is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
