We’re hiring a Senior MERN Stack Developer to design, build, and operate full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js (with TypeScript), and to remain accountable for them well beyond go-live.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn features from idea to production: Take work through design, development, release, and ongoing support, staying responsible after launch.\nBuild full-stack products that scale: Deliver clean React front ends and secure, well-tested Node/Express APIs backed by well-modeled MongoDB data that perform under real traffic.\nRaise the quality bar: Lead thoughtful code reviews and promote practices that keep codebases readable, tested, and maintainable.\nBe the calm during incidents: Step in when things break, restore service quickly, and run root-cause analysis so problems don’t come back.\nInfluence architecture: Contribute to technical design and the key decisions that shape how our platforms evolve.\nMentor others: Coach junior and mid-level engineers and lift the whole team’s skills.\nCollaborate across functions: Work closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps, with hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and observability.\nThink like the client: Learn each client’s users, goals, and constraints fast, and translate them into the right technical solutions.\nYour first 90 days\n Days 1-30 (Settle in and ship): Learn our codebases, tooling, and team, and deliver your first meaningful contribution.\n Days 31-60 (Take ownership): Own a feature or service end to end and contribute actively in code reviews and design discussions.\n Days 61-90 (Become a trusted owner): Become a dependable engineer on a core client product, handle production issues with confidence, and begin guiding teammates.\nWhat we’re looking for\n4+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications\nDeep expertise in the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills\nSolid understanding of REST API design, MongoDB schema design and indexing, authentication and authorization, testing, and application security\nExperience with state management and performance optimization in React (e.g., Redux, React Query, code splitting)\nA track record of running production systems, not just building them\nHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\nComfort with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring and debugging\nExperience working across different industries or product types, with the ability to ramp up quickly on new domains\nLeadership instincts and a habit of stepping up when ownership is needed\nNice to have\nStrong system design skills, including microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture\nExperience with Next.js, GraphQL, or WebSockets/real-time features\nExperience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code\nExposure to compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or SOC 2\nExperience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways (Stripe, Braintree, Adyen), CRMs, or analytics tools\nConsultancy or product-studio experience managing multiple clients and projects\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot\nWhy Techdome?\nBootstrapped and profitable: No investor pressure or growth-at-all-costs targets.
