Through our QurateHQ training programs, we equip individuals with practical, income-generating skills aligned with real-world industry needs.\n\nWe are hiring a Data Science Instructor to train and guide learners in developing the technical and analytical skills required to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data to solve real-world problems.\n\nThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in data science, statistical analysis, programming, and machine learning, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, beginner-friendly learning experiences.\n\nThis role focuses on equipping learners with the skills to work with data, uncover meaningful insights, build predictive models, and apply data-driven solutions to real-world business and industry challenges.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs an Instructor, you will:\n\nGuide learners through data science fundamentals, including data collection, cleaning, processing, exploration, and analysis.\nTeach programming for data science using languages such as Python or R.\nIntroduce essential data science libraries and tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn.\nTeach statistical analysis, probability, data interpretation, and exploratory data analysis.\nGuide learners in data visualization and communicating insights through meaningful reports and visual representations.\nIntroduce machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model development, evaluation, and optimization.\nTrain learners on working with structured and unstructured datasets.\nIntroduce database concepts and tools such as SQL for data extraction and manipulation.\nGuide learners through practical, industry-relevant data science projects and case studies.\nReview learner projects, assess technical progress, and provide structured feedback.\nMentor learners on building professional portfolios, identifying career opportunities, and monetizing their data science skills.\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in data science or a closely related field.\nStrong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and scientific computing.\nPractical experience with data cleaning, statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization.\nWorking knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model development, and evaluation.\nExperience with relevant data science libraries and tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn.\nFamiliarity with SQL and database management.\nActively earning income as a freelancer, consultant, employee, or independent professional in data science or a related field.\nRelevant certifications or professional training in data science, statistics, machine learning, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrable portfolio, GitHub repositories, or completed projects showcasing practical data science experience.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly and guide beginners through practical learning.\n\nBenefits\n\nAt TechEccentric, we value instructors who are passionate about impact, learning, and growth.
