It's about engineering systems that are less likely to fail.\nYou'll be responsible for:\nDefining and monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLOs).\nImplementing monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.\nInvestigating production incidents and identifying root causes.\nParticipating in on-call support and coordinating incident resolution.\nConducting post-incident reviews and implementing lasting improvements.\nTesting backup, restoration and disaster recovery procedures.\nTurning recurring operational issues into automated solutions.\nCI/CD & Automation\nDesign, build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.\nIntegrate automated testing, quality checks and security controls into deployment workflows.\nImprove software release processes to make deployments faster, safer and more predictable.\nEstablish standards for source control, development environments and release readiness.\nDevelop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python or Bash.\nReduce manual operational tasks through automation and infrastructure improvements.\nCloud Security\nSecurity is an integral part of this role.\nYou'll help protect cloud infrastructure and customer environments by:\nIdentifying, prioritising and remediating vulnerabilities.\nManaging security patches, certificates, secrets and access permissions.\nApplying security best practices across Azure and Kubernetes.\nSupporting secure configuration and maintenance of production environments.\nContributing to continuous improvements in infrastructure security.\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with software engineers and technical teams across Europe, North America and Australia.\nHelp establish and improve engineering and operational standards.\nShare knowledge and support other engineers in adopting DevOps best practices.\nCreate and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides and runbooks.\nContribute to a culture of reliability, automation and continuous improvement.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Experience\n5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or cloud operations.\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, storage and Azure SQL.\nProven experience deploying, managing and securing Kubernetes in production, ideally using AKS.\nExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps YAML.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or Bash.\nPractical experience implementing monitoring, alerting and incident response processes.\nUnderstanding of Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and reliability engineering principles.\nExperience with vulnerability management, security patching and secrets management.\nExperience supporting customer-facing production environments.\nFamiliarity with Windows Server and SQL Server.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with international teams across multiple time zones.\nNice to Have\nExperience with any of the following would be an advantage:\nObservability & Monitoring\nPrometheus\nGrafana\nLoki\nTempo\nOpenTelemetry\nSecurity & Compliance\nMicrosoft Defender for Cloud\nAzure Policy\nISO 27001\nSOC 2\nDeployment & Operations\nGitOps and ArgoCD\nFeature flag management\nITIL or other IT service management practices\nProfessional Certifications\nMicrosoft Azure: AZ-104, AZ-400 or AZ-500\nKubernetes: CKA or CKS\nHow You Work\nWe're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive engineering mindset.\nYou:\nThink about reliability first.
