All of this is built and maintained by a small, fast-moving engineering team.\nWhat you’ll work on\nRebuilding core platform systems - taking MVPs to production-grade, handling complex state machines and edge cases where mistakes have real financial consequences\nBuilding data ingestion pipelines - parsing messy real-world formats from third-party systems and turning them into clean, reliable data\nWorking with real money flows - ACH payments, billing reconciliation, and Stripe integrations where accuracy is critical\nShipping across multiple products - features often span multiple user types and systems\nDesigning integrations with external platforms - mapping third-party APIs and building monitoring to catch issues early\nWhat you won’t deal with\nTicket factories - engineers are involved in product decisions, not just execution\nSlow shipping - we ship daily and merge ~70 PRs per month\nSiloed roles - you’ll work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure\nProcess for the sake of process - no story points, no unnecessary ceremonies\nYou should have\nStrong experience building web applications across the stack\nAbility to work across technologies (we use Go, TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL)\nComfort with integration-heavy systems and external APIs\nExperience owning production systems end-to-end, including debugging and incident response\nBonus\nExperience in insurance, fintech, proptech, or other regulated domains\nFamiliarity with AWS (S3, SQS, ECS) and Docker in production environments\n1.
