Through long-standing partnerships with processors, OEMs, and product designers, we help solve manufacturing and business challenges through innovative and sustainable materials solutions.\nWe are currently seeking a Multi-Craft Technician to join our Rancho Dominguez, CA facility on 2nd Shift (1:30 p.m. Midnight - Monday - Thursday).\nPosition Summary\nMulti-Craft Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role requires strong mechanical and industrial electrical troubleshooting experience, including work with motor controls, VFDs, electrical circuits, and automated manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will support production by minimizing downtime, completing work orders, and maintaining compliance with company safety and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety.\nPerform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including: \nMotor controls\nVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)\nAC/DC drives\nSensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits\n120V, 240V, and 480V equipment\nMaintain and repair production equipment such as mixers, extruders, dryers, conveyors, and support systems.\nComplete preventive maintenance tasks, work orders, and equipment improvement projects through the CMMS system.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.\nDiagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.\nTroubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs and assist with automated equipment diagnostics (PLC programming not required).\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic drawings.\nCommunicate equipment status and repair activities with operators, supervisors, and maintenance team members.\nMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and completed work orders.\nKeep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.\nAssist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong hands-on industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.\nExperience working with: \nMotor controls\nVFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)\nAC/DC drives\nServo motors\nSensors, relays, contactors, and electrical control systems\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.\nExperience troubleshooting PLC inputs and outputs (programming experience not required).\nMechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.\nProficiency using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, infrared devices, micrometers, calipers, and laptops.\nExperience using common shop equipment and power tools.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and CMMS systems.\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in plastics, extrusion, compounding, chemical, or manufacturing environments.\nHVAC experience, including process chillers.\nElectro-mechanical education, technical training, or certification.\nExperience supporting automated production equipment.\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.\nAbility to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, dust, and operating machinery.\nAdditional Information\nOvertime shift coverage and on-call support may be required based on operational needs.\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of
