The Cloud Developer is responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This role requires the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud.\nAnalyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimization.\nProvide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services.\nManage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment.\nEnsure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services.\nWork independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.4\nDebug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure.\nTechnical Expertise:\nStrong understanding of cloud platforms and services.\nProficient in DevSecOps practices and automation tools - GitLab\nProficient in container orchestration and security practices\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) \nThe position would be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C. and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $136,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
