This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on exposure to engineering calculations, process simulations, equipment sizing, technical documentation, and project execution activities under the guidance of experienced engineers.\nKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing process engineering deliverables including:Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)\nPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\nProcess Datasheets\nOperating Manuals\nUtility Consumption Summaries\nHeat and Material Balances\n\nPerform basic process calculations such as:Material and energy balances\nHydraulic calculations\nRelief valve calculations\nLine sizing calculations\nEquipment sizing calculations\n\nSupport the development of process simulation models using software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar tools.\nParticipate in engineering studies including:Process optimization\nDebottlenecking studies\nEnergy efficiency assessments\nSafety and operability reviews\n\nAssist in the preparation and review of engineering documents in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and company procedures.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, and Project Management disciplines.\nSupport client and vendor technical discussions as required.\nContribute to HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety workshops.\nEnsure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.\nParticipate in site visits, plant surveys, and commissioning activities when required.\nQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.\nFresh Graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, Energy, or EPC projects.\nStrong academic understanding of process engineering fundamentals.\nTechnical SkillsKnowledge of process engineering principles and calculations.\nFamiliarity with Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent simulation software.\nUnderstanding of international engineering standards and codes.\nKnowledge of process safety principles.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD, SmartPlant, AVEVA, or similar engineering tools is an advantage.\nBehavioral CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.\nEagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.\nPreferred AttributesInternship or academic project experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or EPC environments.\nExposure to process simulation software during academic studies.\nUnderstanding of sustainability and energy transition concepts is an advantage.\nCareer DevelopmentThe role provides structured development opportunities through mentoring, on-the-job training, and participation in engineering projects, enabling progression toward Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer positions.\nStarting Date: ASAP\nAbout you:\nWe love to hear from you and how you match with this position.
