This role ensures execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Plans (QCP), manages coordination with Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies and Authorized Inspectors (AI), tracks daily inspection workloads, and guarantees that high-quality inspections and on-time documentation are consistently achieved.\nJob Responsibilities:\nShop Floor Inspection & Quality of Inspection\nLook after and supervise all daily inspection activities on the shop floor across fabrication, welding, assembly, Surface treatment and testing for assigned projects. \nEnsure the highest quality of inspection is maintained by QC Engineers, preventing any defective or non-compliant products from passing to the next manufacturing stage. \nConduct random surveillance checks on the shop floor to ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, welding procedures, and quality standards \nTraveller, ITP & QCP Management\nEnsure precise physical execution of the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Quality Control Plan (QCP) for all assigned project modules. \nRoutinely update, sign off, and manage manufacturing Travellers (routing cards) in real-time as physical inspection stages are cleared to ensure seamless production flow. \nTPI & AI Coordination (Customer & Third-Party Management)\nPlan, coordinate, and manage customer visits and client audits, ensuring readiness of facilities, documentation, inspection activities, and relevant departments, while facilitating timely closure of observations and audit findings. \nAct as the primary shop-floor point of contact and coordinator for Client Representatives, Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies, and ASME Authorized Inspectors (AI). \nSchedule and coordinate witness, hold, and review points efficiently to ensure external inspectors are present without causing production bottlenecks or unnecessary downtime. \nNCR Management & RCA Participation\nIdentify process or product deviations, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and halt non-compliant processes immediately. \nManage the shop-floor NCR log, track the physical execution of approved rework/repair instructions, and ensure dimensional/welding corrections are verified. \nActively participate in cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings with Production, Engineering, and Head QC to investigate recurring defects and implement preventive measures. \nInspection Load Tracking & Transaction\nMonitor, track, and manage the daily inspection load and inspection call transactions requested by the production department. \nDynamically allocate QC Engineers and inspectors to various workstations or modules to balance workloads, eliminate inspection delays, and meet tight dispatch schedules. \nOn-Time Documentation & Record Keeping\nEnsure all stage-wise inspection reports, dimension check sheets, NDE clearance reports, painting inspection reports and visual weld reports are accurately generated and signed concurrently with the physical inspection. \nMaintain strict discipline regarding on-time documentation to ensure there are no delays during the final Manufacturing Data Record (MDR) compilation and product dispatch. \nStarting Date: October 2026\nAbout you:\nWe love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:\nQualification: -\nDiploma / bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy preferred).\nExperience: -\nMinimum 10 years of hands-on experience in shop-floor quality control, inspection, and testing within heavy engineering, fabrication, or process equipment manufacturing environments. \nMinimum 3+ years in a lead, supervisory, or Project Quality Management (PQM) role. \nRelevant certifications such as ASNT NDE Level II, AWS-CWI, or CSWIP 3.1 are highly preferred. \nSkills require: - (IT, Communication etc)\nExpertise in reading and executing ITPs, QCPs, and manufacturing Travellers. \nStrong coordination and negotiation skills for TPI (Third-Party Inspection) and AI (Authorized Inspector) management. \nNCR lifecycle management and participation in RCA (Root Cause Analysis). \nManpower planning and inspection load tracking/transaction management. \nExcellent time-management skills for ensuring on-time documentation. \nProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and online systems for tracking shop-floor data.\nAssertive communication and shop-floor conflict resolution. \nYour career with us:\nWorking at Technip Energies is an inspiring journey, filled with groundbreaking projects and dynamic collaborations.
