We are currently seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team based for the first months in Houston, TX, then the assignment will be based in Cameron Parish, LA.\nAbout the Project\nCommonwealth LNG, LLC is planning to construct a new liquefaction and export facility at a site located at the mouth of the Calcasieu River on the Gulf of America in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, USA consisting of 393 acres. The nominal net in tank capacity of each train facility is 1.55 million metric tons per annum (MTA), 9.3 MTA net in tank capacity for a 6-train facility.\nThe Project shall include, among other, the following systems / areas:\nInlet facilities\nPower Island \n6 LNG trains, each consisting of:Pre-Treatment Facilities including Mercury Removal, Acid Gas Removal (using BASF license), Dehydration and Heavy Hydrocarbon Removal (using UOP license); \nLiquefaction (using HONEYWELL technology) and Refrigeration. \n\nOSBL Interconnecting pipe racks;\nBoil-Off Gas compressors and associated pipe racks; \nOSBL Equipment and associated pipe racks; \nFlares (Elevated and Marine) \nLNG Tanks (5 ea - 50,000 m3) \nPower & Control Systems \nMarine Facility and LNG Loading Arms \nCivil, Structural and Heavy Haul Road\nAdministration, control, and warehouse facilities \nStorm Surge Wall\nAbout the Job\nWe are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to oversee Site construction activities performed by the Subcontractors. The Planning Engineer will lead the planning effort, manage schedule, collaborate with the subcontractors and the TEN Site team to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. As well the planning engineer will coordinate with the Home Office team to ensure sufficient workfront from Engineering & Procurement activities to Site construction activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeneral:Take Safety as a first focus and Follow Golden Rules\nAttend required SHES / QA Trainings\nAttend coordination meetings with Subcontractor\n\nSchedule:Lead the subcontract pre-award phase: preparation of the schedule exhibits and clarification meetings\nLead Subcontractors baselines schedules package approval process (Schedules, progress curves, construction production curves & manpower histogram)\nMonitor Subcontractor schedules, i.e.: Contractual milestones, anticipated trends, possible deviations to quantify their impact and give early warnings of schedule problems.\nExamine subcontractor’s resources, monitor productivity, forecast variations / trends and suggest adjustments if necessary to avoid potential schedules impact\n\nProgress / ReportingPrepare all schedule and progress input data needed for the project reporting requirements.\nPrepare & update construction KPI’s to summarize progress status information.\nMaintain the construction progress monitoring system considering the status and quantities of the work performed and the resources needed to achieve target performances.\nProvide status and quantities of the work performed and maintain manpower forecast, progress curves and histograms.\nVerified using the Construction Supervision and his team that work has been completed.\nReview and comment on regular reports (weekly & monthly) by Subcontractor.\nAssess and inform work front management based on engineering and procurement status.\n\nSite:You are requested to participate in Weekly Mass TBT.\nYou are requested to submit 2 Safety Observation Cards (SOC) per week.\nYou are required to go to the site at least 1 hour / a day.\n\nWe offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.\nAbout You\nWe’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent diploma.\nMinimum 8+ years of experience in project execution and planning.\nAdvanced proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, AWP,).\nStrong understanding of industry standards in planning and project control.\nExperience with progress measurement systems and schedule risk analysis.\nFamiliarity with EPCI work process sequences.\nAbility to identify deviations from standards and propose improvements.\nExperience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Execution Approach\nPrior experience working on Construction Site for mega projects within the oil and gas industry.\nExperience with working on a USA Gulf Coast field construction site or in a module yard facility.\nPrior experience working on LNG tank construction site.\nWhat’s next?\nOnce receiving your application, a recruiter performs an initial check between your skills and qualifications with our stated requirements prior to a detailed and focused review by the hiring manager.
