{"id":1999603,"url":"https://alion.io/job/technip-energies-process-engineer","title":"Process Engineer","company":{"id":1937688,"name":"Technip Energies","domain":"ten.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/ten-com","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Oracle","truth_index":{"grade":"A","score":92,"open_postings":6,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.333,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":33,"computed_at":"2026-10-13T05:45:00Z"}},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":"senior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Bangkok, Thailand"],"countries":["TH"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":13500,"max_usd":30000,"period":"year","method":"global_role_cell_scaled_by_country","sample_n":6708},"experience_years_min":8,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-07T10:11:32Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-07","last_verified_at":"2026-10-13T13:27:06Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":6,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":6},"description":"MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead/ be a part of the process design team working on onshore or offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design and EPC/ EPCM projects.\n\nPerform process engineering activities and review activities carried out by Engineers, Designers and CAD Operators.\n\nLiaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties.\n\nParticipate in inter-disciplines, project, client and vendor meetings.\n\nPerform all Inter-discipline check\n\nPrepare scope of work, manhour and cost estimates for proposals.\n\nGroom young engineers and provide advice to peers in his field of expertise.\n\nPrincipal Engineer who is a technical specialist has the added responsibility to act in a consultancy role, providing advice and carrying out specialized engineering tasks.\n\nAs a Lead Engineer on project, he is also responsible for the following:\nAdvise the Department Manger the manpower and skill levels required to ensure smooth execution of the project.\n\nAssign work to the team appropriately.\n\nConduct meetings at regular intervals with team members to review progress and share the lesson learnt & typical issues.\n\nOverall responsible for the manhour & schedule monitoring and control and quality of the work produced.\n\nOrganize and maintain project technical filing and archiving.\n\nPrimary involvement in a typical project includes:\nPerform process simulations / calculations including heat and material balance; thermal design of exchanges; hydraulic calculations of piping networks and pipelines, blow down studies etc.\n\nPerform piping, equipment and instruments (control valves and PSV’s) and selection of control scheme.\n\nPrepare equipment and instrument datasheets.\n\nPrepare PFD, UFD & P&IDs\n\nProvide input into other discipline deliverables like: SAFE and Cause and Effect charts.\n\nPrepare line list and tie-in list.\n\nPrepare process equipment list.\n\nDevelop process design basis; operating and control philosophy; isolation philosophy and safeguarding memorandum; relief and blowdown philosophy.\n\nDevelop Pre/Commissioning manual and Operating manual.\n\nPrepare performance test procedures.\n\nQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.\n\nMinimum Level II Professional Engineering License from the Engineering Council of Thailand (if any).\n\nMinimum eight (8) years of experience for senior and fifteen (15) years of experience for principal in Process engineering design in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, Chemical, Petrochemical or related industries.
