Working closely with Tendering Management, Proposal Managers, Commercial/Sales, Estimating, Legal, Project Management, and technical disciplines, this position coordinates proposal inputs, develops technical and commercial content, and ensures tender submissions meet client requirements, internal procedures, and established deadlines.\nThe role assists in managing tender activities from receipt of client invitations through final submission, supporting proposal strategy development, risk reviews, stakeholder coordination, and proposal compliance activities. The Tendering Engineer contributes to the successful pursuit of business opportunities by ensuring accurate, organized, and timely proposal development and delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nFunctional Responsibilities\nReview Invitations to Tender (ITT), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, and client instructions to identify requirements, deliverables, risks, and submission criteria.\nDevelop and coordinate technical and commercial proposal content in collaboration with subject matter experts and proposal stakeholders.\nPrepare proposal documents including executive summaries, technical narratives, commercial write-ups, project references, personnel information, cover letters, and supporting attachments.\nMaintain proposal compliance matrices, schedules, action item logs, clarification registers, and document control records.\nCoordinate inputs from Engineering, Estimating, Project Management, Legal, Procurement, Commercial/Sales, partner offices, vendors, subcontractors, and licensors.\nSupport development of proposal execution strategies, scopes of work, division of responsibility matrices, manhour estimates, schedules, and organizational plans.\nParticipate in tender kickoffs, strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk assessments, and management review meetings.\nCompile, format, review, and quality-check final proposal packages to ensure accuracy, compliance, consistency, and completeness.\nSupport prequalification submissions, client registrations, presentations, clarification responses, and post-submission activities.\nMaintain organized tender files, proposal records, approval documentation, and client communications.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to proposal templates, standard content, lessons learned, and tendering processes.\nLeadership/Management Responsibilities\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional proposal stakeholders and subject matter experts throughout the tendering process.\nFacilitate communication between proposal contributors to ensure timely completion of deliverables. \nSupport proposal leadership during tender reviews and gate review meetings with senior management.\nPromote adherence to tendering procedures, schedules, and proposal quality standards.\nContribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the tendering and commercial organization.\nCompliance/Operational Responsibilities\nEnsure proposal submissions comply with client requirements, internal procedures, and established quality standards.\nSupport proposal risk identification and mitigation activities during bid preparation and review stages.\nMaintain accurate and complete proposal documentation and records in approved document management systems.\nVerify proposal content consistency, formatting, and quality before submission.\nEnsure tender activities are executed in accordance with company governance, approval processes, and submission deadlines.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nExperience in tendering, proposal development, engineering, project execution, or commercial operations, preferably within an EPC, EPCM, or energy-related environment.\nAbility to interpret technical specifications, scopes of work, commercial requirements, and client solicitation documents.\nStrong technical and business writing, editing, and document development skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contributors and manage competing priorities within demanding proposal deadlines.\nExcellent organization, communication, and
