We are licensed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps as a private security company.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Accountant\n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnsure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.\nManage petty cash and expense documentation\nSupport internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation and responding to audit queries.\nSupport payroll\nStrengthen internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.\nMaintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.\nPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies.\nManage tax computations, VAT returns, and other statutory filings accurately and within required timelines.\nCarry out regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet items, and other key financial accounts.\n\nRequirements\n\nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines\nExperience supporting audits and working with internal control and risk management processes\nICAN qualification or professional certification is an added advantage\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools\nB.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nGood communication and organizational skills\n5-7– years of relevant
