Ensure high availability, performance, security, and maintainability of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.\nCloud Engineering: Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP. Build and maintain microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures. Utilise containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools. Work with messaging and caching technologies where applicable.\nTeam Leadership and Delivery Management: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and career development support. Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Drive sprint planning, estimation, and release activities in Agile/Scrum environments. Monitor project risks and proactively address technical challenges.\nAI-Assisted Development: Leverage approved AI tools and platforms to improve development productivity, code quality, documentation, and troubleshooting. Encourage responsible adoption of AI-assisted coding and automation practices across the team.\nRequirements:\n8-10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python.\n2+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nExperience in designing REST APIs and microservices architectures.\nStrong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. ).\nExperience with Git and modern software development practices.\nStrong understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and software architecture.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nGood-to-have experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark.\nExposure to data engineering and ETL pipelines.\nExperience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.\nKnowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.\nExperience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.\nExposure to machine learning or AI frameworks.\nRelevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or
