The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions within Utility, Energy, and related enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for understanding utility business processes, translating\nrequirements into functional and technical specifications, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and system design.\n\nTechnical Business Analyst – Utility / Energy Domain\nHyderabad\nFulltime\n\nWhat Will You Be Doing?\nRequirement Gathering & Analysis\n•Conduct detailed requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders in the Utility / Energy domain.\n•Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.\nDomain Analysis (Utility / Energy)\n•Work on use cases related to Power & Utilities, Retail Energy, Metering, Billing, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Outage Management (OMS), Energy Trading, or Regulatory Reporting.\n•Understand end-to-end utility workflows such as customer onboarding, billing cycles, consumption data, settlements, and compliance.\nDocumentation\n• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, Functional Specifications, and User Stories.\n• Ensure documentation reflects utility-specific business rules and regulatory constraints.\nProcess Mapping & Improvement\n• Analyze current-state utility processes and define future-state workflows.\n• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.\nStakeholder Communication\n• Act as a liaison between utility business users, product teams, developers, QA, and project managers.\n• Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.\nSolution Design & Collaboration\n• Work closely with engineering teams to design scalable solutions aligned with utility business requirements.\n• Ensure solutions are technically feasible and compliant with industry standards.\nTesting & Validation\n• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.\n•Participate in UAT, validating solutions against utility business needs.\nProject & Post-Go-Live Support\n•Support deployment and post-deployment activities.\n•Assist in issue triaging and production support for utility applications.\n\nWhat Makes You the Perfect Fit?\nEducation\n• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.\nExperience\n•Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.\n•Hands-on experience working on Utility / Energy domain projects is mandatory.\nTechnical Skills\n•Familiarity with SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python or similar technologies.\n•Experience with JIRA / Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, or similar tools.\n•Strong skills in data analysis, data modeling, and process mapping.
