Your day-to-day responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating on new initiatives to improve operational efficiency. This role is a direct hire opportunity that offers exposure to a broad range of technologies, empowering you to build your technical expertise while supporting our growing connected fleet ecosystem.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, modify, and implement medium to complex application code and enhancements.\nAnalyze software requirements and technical designs to assess implementation feasibility within project constraints.\nDevelop, execute, and troubleshoot unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.\nPerform code reviews, present technical solutions, and provide constructive feedback to team members.\nMonitor application health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot operational issues proactively.\nSupport deployments, system updates, and application releases across QA and production environments.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and operational workflows.\nSupport both tactical and strategic initiatives, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.\nParticipate in on-call rotations to support production environments and resolve issues effectively.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n3+ years of software development experience using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.\n3+ years of experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL databases.\nProven experience working with RESTful APIs and cloud-native technologies.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated build, and deployment processes.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExperience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and relevant tools (Jira, Confluence).\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\nCommitment to incorporating security best practices into all development work.\nProficiency with API testing, troubleshooting, and validation.\nDesired Skills & Experience:\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture.\nFamiliarity with GitHub, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, and related DevOps tools.\nExperience with ReactJS or other front-end technologies.\nKnowledge of PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and message-driven processing patterns.\nPrior experience building and deploying Spring Boot microservices in cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with OpenAPI specifications and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.\nKeywords: Java, Spring Boot, REST API, SQL, Microservices, Cloud AWS, DevOps, Java Developer, Software Engineer, Agile\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
