You will collaborate across multiple teams to define use cases and deliver impactful solutions aligned with the company’s strategic goals. You will evaluate and select appropriate AI and software technologies, establish best practices in model development, MLOps, and DevOps, and mentor engineering teams to foster innovation and technical excellence. Your role will also involve driving technical strategy, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, automated testing, and agile methodologies. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for hire, based in the Bridgeton office with a hybrid schedule (minimum of two days per week in-office).\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the development of AI-driven platforms and scalable software systems aligned with business objectives.\nCollaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define use cases and deliver solutions.\nEvaluate, select, and implement AI frameworks, tools, and technologies for performance and scalability.\nEstablish and promote best practices in AI model development, MLOps, and system architecture.\nMentor and coach engineering teams to foster innovation and excellence.\nDrive technical strategy and long-term planning for AI and software initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards in all projects.\nChampion engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n7+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems.\nProven experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.\nHands-on expertise with programming languages like Visual Studio .NET and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server.\nDeep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI.\nStrong leadership and communication skills with a record of mentoring technical teams.\nAdvanced understanding of data privacy laws and security standards.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.\nAbility to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure settings.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.\nDesired Skills & Experience:\nIndustry experience in enterprise AI and software architecture.\nCertifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or AI/ML frameworks.\nExposure to AI ethics and responsible AI practices.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.\nPay: $49.00 - $70.00 per hour\nKeywords: AI Software Architect, Cloud AI Solutions, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Privacy, MLOps, Software Engineering, Azure, AWS, GCP\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
