In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage daily, weekly, and month-end accounting tasks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate revenue recognition, supporting process improvements, and providing variance analysis and reporting. You will also assist in consolidating data from multiple sources to analyze revenue impacts, all while gaining in-depth knowledge of revenue streams and business operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport revenue and subsidiary accounting activities, including trade and captive lending revenue.\nPrepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.\nPerform account reconciliations and analyze variances to identify root causes.\nAssist in consolidating financial data to evaluate revenue impacts across streams.\nSupport month-end, weekly, and daily closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.\nResearch discrepancies and variances to provide comprehensive explanations.\nContribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline revenue accounting workflows.\nCollaborate with team members to transfer knowledge and ensure compliance with accounting standards.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n3-5+ years of relevant revenue accounting experience.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, including revenue recognition, debits and credits, and month-end close processes.\nExperience with reconciling accounts and supporting financial analysis.\nIntermediate Excel skills, including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.\nAbility to work with pre-built Power Query and SQL queries (not responsible for creating data models or SQL).\nExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and research skills.\nStrong organizational and time management abilities, with experience managing multiple deadlines.\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or High School Diploma with extensive relevant experience.\nDesired Skills & Experience:\nExperience supporting revenue recognition in a technology or finance-focused industry.\nKnowledge of financial reporting tools and automation processes.\nPrior exposure to process improvement initiatives within accounting.\nKeywords: revenue accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close, financial analysis, ERP systems, GAAP, SQL, Power Query, finance\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
