The role will contribute to many of our content goals, including the production of weekly news and trends, as well as other forms of technology-focused content.\nEmployment Level: Entry Level \nEmployment Type: Full Time\nLocation: Philippines \nWorking Hours: 9am to 6pm PHT\nWhat you'll do\nDraft short-form news articles, technology reviews, and other written content weekly to support site-wide content goals.\nWork under the direction of editors to ideate future articles or ways to upgrade existing channel-focused content.\nSpeak with IT channel professionals and interview executives at leading and emerging companies to build a deep understanding of the industry to support news-driven initiatives.\nFollow trending topics and conversations within the IT channel to identify essential trends that consistently shape coverage opportunities.\nCollaborate with editorial and sales teams on custom content opportunities when needed.\nSupport channel video content with brainstorming and occasional script drafting when necessary.\nParticipate in planning meetings with the broader channel team and leadership when needed.\nUse project management software to keep multiple projects on track and meet weekly deadlines efficiently.\nWillingness to support ad hoc tasks and assignments as they come up to drive overall team success.\nWho you are\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience\nAt least two years of experience drafting written and/or video-based content, particularly in technology\nUnderstanding of IT channel ecosystem and/or major vendors across infrastructure, security, or AI technologies\nBackground in news reporting and related tasks, including interviewing subject matter experts, is a plus\nFamiliarity with working with PR and expert contacts to identify unique and exclusive story opportunities also a plus\nClear, concise writing skills and proficiency in the English language (spoken and written)\nAbility to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities with clarity and open communication\nAgile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward\nSelf-motivated and able to manage your time with little oversight\nOpen to feedback and strive to learn something new every day\nPassionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions\nMust have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection\nAgile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward\n**The duties and responsibilities listed above describe the post as it is in general terms and are not definitive.
