The Bulk Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cement powder and other related products in both rural and urban environments in all weather conditions.\nHere is some insight into what your day-to-day will entail:\nDrive company-owned trucks in a professional manner to transport and deliver products or other materials\nOperate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other drivers\nPre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure safety as a priority\nCompletes daily DOT pre-trip inspections and required logs. Submits and verifies accuracy of all documentation.\nResponsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and routine maintenance checks of assigned vehicle. Reports issues, accidents, and damage to the leadership team.\nMaintains and submits all trip-related receipts and expenses.\nObtains and maintains accurate delivery authorization and pickup documentation. Verifies shipment documents such as load tickets, bills of lading and work orders.\nDrive trucks to weigh stations when appropriate along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations\nOccasionalflat bed deliveries when available\nDelivery\nManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew\nCheck all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate\nObtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required\n Required Skills/Abilities:\nAdaptable: Able to anticipate and respond to unexpected situations (traffic, weather, road conditions, onsite restrictions).\nTime-management: Committed to timely deliveries and providing quality service to our customers.\nOrganized and detail-oriented: Maintains accurate records for documents, gas cards, receipts, and load tickets.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nValid commercial driver’s license (CDL), Class A required\n2+ years of commercial truck driving experience\n2+ years of dry bulk tanker experience\nKnowledge of applicable DOT rules and safe driving regulations\nWhy Work for Us?\nTecho-Bloc offers its valued associates a competitive salary, paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package.
