You’ll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently while helping improve reliability across the plant.\nThis is a great role for someone who enjoys:\nReal troubleshooting (not just swapping parts)\nVariety - mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding\nA plant that depends on Maintenance and respects the trade\nWhat You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Work)\nYou’ll be hands-on repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including:\nTroubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.)\nDiagnose and repair hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, solenoids, pumps) and build hydraulic hoses as needed\nPerform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick) in various positions\nTroubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeter, and megger\nInstall and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools\nTroubleshoot and support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)\nTest equipment, identify needed parts, complete repairs, and document preventative maintenance\nMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures\nWork at heights and use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as needed\n Required Skills/Abilities:\n2 + years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field. \nProficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery \nPrevious experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts \nPrevious experience with stick and MIG welding. \nWill need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairs \nProficient Electrical skills \nProficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components \nRead and comprehend schematics and diagrams. \nExperience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems \nAble to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment \nMaintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs. \nTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes \nCollaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership. \nEducation and Experience: \nElectrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)\n\nWhy Techo-Bloc?\nWe take care of our team with strong pay, reliable hours, and real benefits.\nWeekly Pay\nMedical / Dental / Vision\n401(k) + Company Match\nLife Insurance + STD + LTD\nPaid Time Off\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nEmployee product discounts\nTraining & Development opportunities\nUniforms provided after 3 months\nBoot reimbursement program\n Physical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
