No bridge, no downtown commute.\nWhat you’ll do\nPlan for today and for the season ahead\nOwn the daily and weekly production schedule for your assigned lines and keep orders accurate in our MRP/ERP system.\nTranslate demand forecasts into realistic plans aligned with actual capacity, over the short, medium and long term.\nAnticipate capacity, bottleneck and sequencing risks, and work with the Planning Manager to address them before they hit the floor.\nTurn data into decisions\nAnalyze demand, trends and historical data to spot risks and opportunities early.\nPrevent stockouts and excess inventory before they have an impact.\nDrive KPI performance (service level, changeovers, excess inventory, backorder lead time): understand the trends, propose actions and follow them through.\nMake planning better\nTurn day-to-day pain points into lasting fixes: build the tools, adjust the processes, measure the results.\nLead corrective actions and confirm they actually worked.\nLead through expertise\nBe the team’s go-to planning expert.\nCoach and onboard planners, and pass on best practices, procedures and tool know-how.\nCollaborate proactively with sales on demand and priorities, and with production and procurement on execution.\n What you bring\nMust-haves\n5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.\nA track record of moving KPIs and leading process improvement initiatives.
