Strong programming fundamentals and knowledge of API development, concurrency, SQL databases, and fault-tolerant system design are essential.\n\nThe role involves building scalable backend services, processing events asynchronously, managing service-to-service communication, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and resilience of distributed applications.\n\nTitle : Python Backend Engineer \nLocation :Remote Work\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nExp Range: 2+ years\n\nKey Responsibilities: \nPython Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.\nDistributed Systems: Build and maintain distributed backend services, handling service communication, concurrent requests, failures, timeouts, retries, and fault tolerance.\nEvent-Driven Architecture: Design and implement event-driven workflows using message brokers or event streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent technologies.\nMessaging & Event Processing: Develop event producers and consumers, process messages asynchronously, and handle message failures, retries, duplicate events, and delivery guarantees.\nMicroservices Development: Build independent backend services and implement reliable service-to-service communication and integration.\nAsynchronous Processing & Task Scheduling: Implement asynchronous operations, background jobs, scheduled tasks, and task queues using asyncio, Celery, or equivalent frameworks.\nData Ingestion & ETL Pipelines: Develop data processing workflows to extract, transform, validate, and load data while maintaining accuracy and reliability.\nDatabase Development: Write and optimize SQL queries, manage database interactions, and integrate backend services with PostgreSQL, AlloyDB, or other SQL databases.\nRedis & Caching: Implement caching and efficient data access strategies to reduce database load and improve application performance.\nProblem Solving & Debugging: Analyze logs, troubleshoot complex backend issues, identify root causes, and optimize application performance.\nContainerization & Cloud Deployment: Use Docker to package backend services and support deployments and troubleshooting in AWS or GCP environments.\nCode Quality & Collaboration: Follow clean coding practices, use Git for version control, participate in code reviews, and write maintainable, testable code.\n\nMandatory Skills & Qualifications:\nPython Backend Development: 2+ years of hands-on experience developing backend applications and REST APIs using Python, preferably with FastAPI or Flask.\nDistributed Systems: Practical understanding of distributed services, service-to-service communication, fault tolerance, timeouts, retries, and failure handling.\nEvent-Driven Architecture: Hands-on experience with event-driven workflows, message producers and consumers, and asynchronous messaging.\nMessage Brokers: Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent messaging technologies.
