This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.\nResponsibilities\nIndependently classify items, services, and technologies under applicable Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) and USML categories.\nIdentify applicable export exemptions and licensing requirements.\nPrepare assessments, briefings, technical evaluations, and regulatory interpretations.\nMaintain compliance databases, documenting review findings and supporting information.\nDevelop and update training materials and outreach products.\nProvide technical and programmatic input to reviews and policy development.\nRequirements\nAt least three years of demonstrated export compliance experience, including application of ITAR, EAR, USML categories, and ECCNs.\nBachelor’s degree.\nActive TS/SCI security clearance.\nStrong reading comprehension, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to communicate technical and regulatory information clearly to audiences with varied backgrounds.\nAbility to manage assignments independently and contribute effectively to team projects.\nAvailability to work onsite in the Washington, DC metropolitan area up to five days per week as
